I mean, you gotta be somebody, ain\u2019t ya, or you might as well jump in the sea and drown.<br \/>\nScramble<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Hintergrund zum BJJ Gi Scramble \u201cThe Mod\u201d Kimono<\/h2>\n<p>Der Kimono (Gi) soll an alte Zeiten der britischen Subkultur der 60iger und 70iger erinnern. Damals waren Parkas, die mit diversen Aufn\u00e4hern verziert waren, ein Teil der Mode und Erkennungszeichen einer Generation. Die Jugend zeigte als Ausdruck des Ablehnens des Establishments eine<br \/>\n\u00fcbersteigerte Form von abweichendem Verhalten, welches als Herausforderung der gesellschaftlichen Normen galt. Das erinnert auch an die heutige Kimono Kultur: mehr Bling Bling, mehr Patches, viele Farben. Da mein letzter Gi Zugang noch gar nicht solange her war und die Kommentare meiner Frau zum letzten Erwerb (siehe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gi-world.de\/en\/testbericht-progress-jiu-jitsu-the-summit-bjj-gi\/\">Review des Progress\u201eThe Summit\u201c<\/a>) noch nicht verhallt waren, kostete es eine gute \u00dcberredungskunst, um die Zahlungsfreigabe auf dem Konto zu erwirken. Somit durfte der 10. Gi in meinem Schrank Platz nehmen. Ein Versprechen musste ich nun aber doch brechen. Meinen RFS Professor A. Eghbali wollte ich eigentlich nicht mit meinen Gis nerven, aber mit meinem Altersbonus und einem hart erarbeiteten Braungurt im R\u00fccken sollte das schon klappen.<\/p>\n<h3>Eigenschaften des Kimono \u201eThe Mod\u201c:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Farbe: Military Green<\/li>\n<li>Webart Jacke: mittelschweres Canvas<\/li>\n<li>Material: cotton, (Baumwolle)<\/li>\n<li>Hose: Rip Stop<\/li>\n<li>Getestete Gr\u00f6\u00dfe: A3L<\/li>\n<li>Gewicht: 1.8 kg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bei den Angaben auf der Homepage ist die Gewichtsangabe etwas versteckt unter &#8222;Additional Informations&#8220; zu finden, auch wenn diese bei der fehlenden IBJJF Zulassung keine gr\u00f6\u00dfere Rolle spielt. --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 840\/473;\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bei einer K\u00f6rpergr\u00f6\u00dfe von 188 cm, einem mittleren Gewicht von 90 kg, habe ich als drahtiger Typ relativ lange Arme und Beine. Grenzwertig zwischen den GI Gr\u00f6\u00dfen A3 und A4 liegend bevorzuge ich einen A3. Typisch f\u00fcr meinen K\u00f6rpertyp w\u00e4re der A4 mit perfekter Arm- und Beinl\u00e4nge aber ein gro\u00dfer, nicht gef\u00fcllter Kimono Volumen am Rumpf, da m\u00fcssten schon mehr Kilos auf meine Rippen. Bei einer A3 Gr\u00f6\u00dfe liegt normalerweise der Stoff am Torso perfekt an, super Volumenf\u00fcllung, jedoch sind Bein- und Arml\u00e4nge grenzwertig.<\/p>\n<p>Je nach Hersteller, Modell und Schrumpfung nach dem Waschen kann da schon eine \u00dcberraschung auftauchen, wie der Schnee- und Wintereinbruch zu Ostern 2018 im Norden unserer Republik. Ob ich nun gl\u00fccklich mit der Wahl des \u201eThe Mod\u201c bin, seht Ihr in meiner weiteren Beschreibung.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Allegemeinse zur Gi Pflege<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Allgemein solltet Ihr die Pflegehinweise des Herstellers beachten, auch wenn diese mittlerweile f\u00fcr uns Jitsuero abgedroschen klingen. Ich pers\u00f6nlich wasche meinen GI unmittelbar nach jedem Training mit 30 Grad im langen Waschprogramm, mittlere Schleuderzahl. Nur Waschmittel und evtl.<br \/>\nDesinfektionsmittel. Sind die Gis am Anfang noch ein wenig zu gro\u00df oder sind bereits entsprechend nach mehrmaligen Waschen geschrumpft, g\u00f6nne ich ihnen auch ein 40 Grad Programm. Aber niemals einen Trockner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Da die meisten Gi heutzutage einen gummierten Kragen besitzen, ist auf die Verwendung von diesen hohen Temperaturen bei der Gi Pflege abzusehen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Um im n\u00e4chsten Training frisch zu erscheinen, besitze ich mehrere GI, je nach Webart und Stoffdichte getrennt im Einsatz f\u00fcr den Sommer und den Winter. Solltet ihr nur ein Modell besitzen, w\u00e4re die Anschaffung eines<br \/>\nelektrischen Entfeuchters (aber bitte keinen F\u00f6n) ratsam. In meinem Keller steht so ein Ding, nicht nur wegen der Gis\u2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bestellung und Lieferung<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bestellt habe ich den Kimono direkt auf der Scramble Homepage <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scramblestuff.com\/product\/scramble-the-mod-kimono\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.scramblestuff.com<\/a>. Es handelt sich bei dem Gi um eine Limited Edition, die nicht aufgestockt wird und bei der man nur 2 St\u00fcck je Bestellvorgang ordern kann (\u2026konnte, da mittlerweile fast alle Gr\u00f6\u00dfen ausverkauft sind). Die Bestellung funktionierte dank PayPal und der Zustimmung meiner Frau reibungslos. 5 Tage sp\u00e4ter war der Gi mit DHL bis in die Wohnung geliefert.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Erster Eindruck, Unboxing (beim Auspacken)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Geliefert wurde recht einfallslos in einem Pastikbeutel. Da sehen die Lieferungen bei meiner Frau doch schon ansprechender aus. Egal, kommt ja auf den Inhalt an. Der Gi f\u00fchlte sich relativ weich an, die Farbe absolut gel\u00e4ndetauglich. Im Zeitalter der immer schriller werdenden Gi-Designs ist auf<br \/>\nScramble Verlass. Der Preis f\u00fcr den \u201eThe Mod\u201c liegt normal bei 125 GBP und damit im beginnenden oberen Segment des Gi-Preisspektrums. Dies ist definitiv ein Qualit\u00e4ts Gi und f\u00fcr die Haptik und das verwendete Design finde ich den Preis inkl. Die Festigkeit\/ Steifheit des gummierten Kragens w\u00fcrde ich als mittlere Einstufung sehen<br \/>\nund erinnert mich an meine beiden Tatami Modelle. Er f\u00fchlt sich beim Tragen angenehm an, er scheuert nicht oder behindert stark. Auf dem Gi Oberteil sind insgesamt 4 Patches aufgebracht. Hervorzuheben sind auf dem rechten Arm ein Aufn\u00e4her in Form des Hoheitszeichen der Royal Air Force, der in dem Zusammenhang auch als Mod Target bezeichnet wird. Auf dem linken Arm befindet sich ein stilisiertes, einem Sergeant First Class Rangabzeichen \u00e4hnelnden, Milit\u00e4rabzeichen mit Scramble Logo. Diese Schnittweise scheint die neue gro\u00dfartige revolution\u00e4re Ver\u00e4nderung der Gi-Hosen zu sein. Im Endeffekt passen die Gi-Hosen von der L\u00e4nge gut. Der Schnitt ist aber schon recht weitr\u00e4umig (baggy) und d\u00fcrfte eher eine A4 Gr\u00f6\u00dfe sein. Auf der Hose wurde auf dem rechten oberen Oberschenkel lediglich ein Aufn\u00e4her mit der Schrift \u201eTHE MOD, ENGLAND\u201c und dem Union Jack aufgebracht.<\/p>\n<h3>Scramble \u201cThe Mod\u201d Kimono in der Praxis<\/h3>\n<p>Auch wenn der Gi eine besondere Erscheinung ist, gewinnt er nicht allein auf der Matte. Da ich mich mal wieder mit der Gi Wahl in den Vordergrund gedr\u00e4ngt hatte, war ich nat\u00fcrlich wieder ein selbst erkl\u00e4rtes Ziel unserer Top Leute. Schaut gerne mal auf unsere Homepage und unsere Erfolge<br \/>\nwww.rfsteam.de\/erfolge , dann habt Ihr eine kleine Ahnung, was mich auf der Matte erwartet hatte.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Beim Rollen sitzt der Gi gut. Die Jacke f\u00fchlt sich trotz des verwendeten Canvas noch leicht an. Obwohl die Hose recht weit geschnitten ist, verrutscht sie nicht.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die Kordel am Bund sitzt bombenfest, nichts zwickt oder schr\u00e4nkt die Bewegungsfreiheit ein. Nach einer 90 min\u00fctigen Trainingssession sieht man dem Oberteil die verrichtete Arbeit in Form von dunklen Schwei\u00dfflecken an. Das ist f\u00fcr mich neu und wirkt martialisch. Bei dem verwendeten Gi Design kann man jetzt ruhig von Tarnflecken sprechen. Dies ist optisch ungewohnt und dem verwendeten Canvas Gewebe geschuldet. Ich darf an dieser Stelle des Berichtes direkt beruhigen, denn nach der obligatorischen W\u00e4sche ist von irgendwelchen Flecken nichts mehr zu sehen.<\/p>\n<h2>Fazit -Scramble \u201cThe Mod\u201d Kimono in der Praxis<\/h2>\n<p>F\u00fcr mich pers\u00f6nlich ein au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlicher Gi in der oberen Preisklasse. Er wirkt abgestimmt und ist sehr gut verarbeitet. Das Military Green ist schon ein besonderer Hingucker auch wenn ich im Verlaufe der Zeit eine andere, hellere Nuance erwarte.
